Rectangular Connectors
Metal-shell microminiature-D connectors have been traditionally used on dilution fridge and helium-3 instruments from Oxford.
Though they take up more space and require a more complicated mounting arrangement than circular cryogenic connectors they can be made equally rugged by encapsulating the soldered wire loom with stycast 2850FT epoxy.
